#TrainingTuesday update from Stuart Kennedy, Official Marathon Coach for the 2019 Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon “Experiment 26.2 Group”

Well can you believe it’s only 5 more sleeps until you wake up on Marathon Sunday. You are all about to become history makers, new day, new course and largest ever marathon field. You are also about to be part of the 1% of the population that will run a marathon in their lifetime.


Keep your thoughts positive, all the hard work is done. The marathon is ran during the months of training you have already done.


This Sunday is just you showing your family and supporters how fit and healthy you are. Try not to do anything different for the rest of the week, start carb loading from Friday, keep hydrated and sleep is also important.


You have got this, Every time you have a moment to yourself visualise yourself crossing the finishing line and imagine how fantastic you will feel.  See you all on Sunday!
