2020 Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon (Sunday 3rd May 2020) - THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED

The competitor, who will be of the stipulated age on 3rd May 2020, acknowledges that he/she will be participating entirely at his/her own risk and to the extent permitted by the Unfair Contract terms Act 1977.  The Belfast City Marathon Committee will not be liable for any loss, damage, illness or injury whatsoever directly or indirectly occasioned by or resulting from the negligence, wrongful act or default of the Committee, its members, employees, agents or from any other cause including an act of God or the physical condition of the competitor.  Entries are non-refundable.  Marathon entrants must be over 18 years of age.  Team Relay and walk entrants must be over 16 years of age.  There is no minimum age for the Fun Run however entrants under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

 

2020 Deep RiverRock Belfast City Half Marathon (Sunday 20th September 2020) - THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL 28TH FEBRUARY 2021

The competitor, who will be of the stipulated age on 20th September 2020, acknowledges that he/she will be participating entirely at his/her own risk and to the extent permitted by the Unfair Contract terms Act 1977.  The Belfast City Marathon Committee will not be liable for any loss, damage, illness or injury whatsoever directly or indirectly occasioned by or resulting from the negligence, wrongful act or default of the Committee, its members, employees, agents or from any other cause including an act of God or the physical condition of the competitor.  Entries are non-refundable.  Entrants must be over 17 years of age. 

 

Can I cancel my entry?

Belfast City Marathon operates a strict no refund policy. If you decide to cancel your entry, you accept that all entry fees are non-refundable and may not be deferred towards a future event. 

If you would like to transfer your entry to another person/group or defer your place to the following year, you must contact the Marathon Office directly on info@belfastcitymarathon.org or telephone +44 28 9060 5933 for permission and further instruction. This must be done 2 weeks prior to Race Day for each Event for consideration by the Event Manager.

What happens if Belfast City Marathon cancels the event?

Belfast City Marathon may cancel the Event if circumstances beyond their control arise, including, without limitation, war, epidemic, civil or political unrest, terrorism or inclement weather conditions. In such circumstances we will contact you via email, mobile phone, text message, television and radio broadcast. You will receive a refund of the Fee if it was you that paid it, unless you choose another option that the company offers (e.g. deferment or virtual). 

In the event of a cancellation of the Event/entry, Belfast City Marathon will have no responsibility for any costs incurred as a result of the cancellation which may include travel or accommodation costs.
