Make training easier with My ASICS

With less than 9 weeks to the 4th Deep RiverRock Belfast City Half Marathon, is your training on track to finish strong or break your current PB? Perhaps you are struggling with the longer runs or want advice on how frequently you should be running?
Official Sports Apparel and Training Partner, ASICS is promoting a free online service, MY ASICS, to assist all runners achieve their running goals by enabling each person to set individual training schedules to cover the 13.1 mile journey for the big race on Sunday 18th September.
Rebecca Tredant, Events Manager from ASICS highlights;
“We are delighted to be involved with the Official Belfast City Half Marathon. The opportunity to provide help and support to all runners is fantastic and we urge everyone to make training easier and download the free training app MY ASICS in an attempt to reach your goal.
You can log your runs, find useful information and communicate and share your progress with other runners via the MY ASICS Facebook app; a time line filled with support and advice that will keep you motivated every step of the way. So there are no excuses to feel lonely on your Half Marathon journey.”
The 4th Deep RiverRock Belfast City Half Marathon will be held on Sunday 18th September 2016 starting at 9am in Ormeau Park and will follow a route bypassing some of the major landmarks of Belfast including; Albert Clock, Titanic Quarter, City Hall and the murals on the Falls Road.
