Tuesday 13th February is the day to get your frying pan out and enjoy pancakes for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner! How about trying healthier and even more delicious recipe alternatives this year for Pancake Day (Shrove Tuesday)?
Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon sampling partner, Linwoods Healthfoods have created their own pancake recipes which are Dairy Free, Gluten Free and are Vegan and Vegetarian friendly. Their “Nutty Chocolate Pancakes” are a delicious and healthy treat including Linwoods Flaxseed, Almonds, Brazil Nuts, Walnuts & Co-Enzyme Q10 blend. Why not treat your loved one with this recipe on Valentine’s Day too!
The Linwoods team also provided their moreish “Chocolate Chia Pancakes” recipe for the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon “Cook Off” during the event’s Health Month. Two teams went head to head at the Mencap Centre on Saturday 10th February cooking both White’s Oats and Linwoods Healthfoods marathon fuelled recipes, as voted by the public.
