22 March 2019
Some of the team visited the Air Ambulance NI base last Friday to launch their fundraising campaign and meet with the duty pilot. They have registered 3 teams in the relay and one team member, Jill Long, will be taking on the full 26.2 miles!
Jill said "Working in Air Traffic Control we thought it would be ideal to raise money for Air Ambulance NI. We speak to the pilots on a daily basis and are excited to be supporting such a fantastic life-saving service. We are really enjoying the build-up and the WhatsApp group has been great fun!"
You can join Jill and Air Traffic Control Aldergrove to raise money for #TeamAANI and #BeARealLifeHero by signing up to the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon now at www.belfastcitymarathon.com and support your local Air Ambulance Charity.
