In Partnership with the Daily Mile NI we visited Cranmore Integrated Nursery and Primary School to do a Mini Relay with the P6's! As part of our Mind Body Miles Campaign, we want to encourage everyone regardless of age, gender or ability on how to stay active and healthy.
The Daily Mile Foundation was formed in 2016 by Elaine Wyllie MBE, with the support of their Lead Partner, INEOS. Their mission is helping children thrive by supporting schools and nurseries to embed a culture of physical activity into their daily activity. They work with teacher, schools and partners to make daily movement simple and accessible.
At Belfast City Marathon we are proud to be a part and a supporter of the Daily Mile Network, as we want to promote a health welling being from a young age. In 2026, we have launched our Mind Body Miles Campaign, where each month we focus on a certain topic, audience or community that we feel matches the ethics and qualities of our brand.
With the help of our sponsors, Phoenix Energy, Q Radio, Better, Athletics NI, Belfast Live, Deep RiverRock and iTab, we got to organise a perfect morning for all the Primary 6 students.
Just in time for the sun to come out, Better provided us with a quick warm up for the kids, before Athletics NI and the Daily Mile coordinator, Dean, led the kids for their Mini Relay event!
