Given the increase in participation numbers for the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon and the need for moving towards a more **sustainable and eco-friendly event, all participants of the 2020 Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon, Team Relay, 8 Mile Walk and Fun Run events will collect their race pack at the Official Pack Collection/Race Expo in Belfast City Hall on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd May 2020.
The Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon is proud as a growing event, to facilitate an Expo opportunity in the city centre, which brings it in line with other major city marathons such as Dublin, Edinburgh and Liverpool.
Opening times will be as follows:
Friday 1st May 11am - 7pm
Saturday 2nd May 9am - 7pm
Participants will receive an email with a QR code prior to race weekend. They must bring this email (on phone or print out) to the Pack Collection - the QR code will be scanned by staff on the day to allocate your Race Number. Participants can send someone on their behalf (at their own risk, as Belfast City Marathon Ltd cannot accept responsibility for missing Race Packs once they leave the Belfast City Hall) and their QR code email must be shown.
**Please note there will be no race packs posted in 2020 and there will be no race numbers available on race day. Moving towards a more sustainable event, this cuts out paper waste from thousands of packs being posted. Race instructions will be sent electronically going forward. Participants are encouraged to car share, take public transport or cycle into the city over race weekend.
Confirmation of the new Pack Collection/Expo for 2020 has been included in all participant confirmation emails since the 2020 Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon events officially launched in October 2019.
