#TrainingTuesday update from Stuart Kennedy, Official Marathon Coach for the 2019 Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon “Experiment 26.2 Group”

Congratulations everyone for getting this far.


You only have one long run to do before your taper starts. 


Use this run to try out all the gear you plan to use on Marathon Sunday. That includes your socks, shoes, shorts & running top. Decide on the gels you will be using & electrolyte drink and don’t change from this point onwards. 


If possible use the ones that the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon will be supplying, this will give you one less thing to carry. 


Make sure you practice self-care over the next few weeks & get to the start line injury free, rested, fit & healthy.
