Stuart is coaching our Challenge 13.1 team who are all training for their 1st Half Marathon - in Belfast on Sunday 22 September!
“It’s hard to believe it’s September already, 3 weeks to go until Half Marathon Sunday.
I’ve had a few people contact me, worried that their longest run to date isn’t past 10 miles.
My advice is to look back at all the miles you have completed over the past few months and imagine you have put each mile in the bank. Then think about how many miles you have saved up. Endurance doesn’t just come from your long runs, it comes from all your runs. In 3 weeks time you get to withdraw all the miles you have saved up and this will enable you to have a fantastic experience at the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Half Marathon.”
