#TrainingTuesday update from Stuart Kennedy, Official Marathon Coach for the 2019 Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon “Experiment 26.2 Group”

It’s 12 weeks to go until marathon Sunday.  That’s 9 weeks left to build up your training gradually until you start to taper for the last 3 weeks.  Plan in a few races to test how your training is going and to experience what it’s like to wake up on race day, find out what food suits you best. Get used to running in big groups and feel what it’s like to run at a planned pace.  Learn from your mistakes and prepare for success.
