At approximately 4.4 miles into the route, the first relay changeover at Montgomery Road will replace the 2019’s changeover in Ormeau Park.

Peter McMonagle, General Manager at Better Lisnasharragh Leisure Centre said

“As the official gym partner to the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon, Better are excited that Lisnasharragh Leisure Centre will be at the first handover in this year’s team relay.  More and more runners are using our facilities to complement their training, whether it’s strength and conditioning in our gyms, yoga in our fitness studios or low impact cardio in our swimming pools.  We’ll be on site to cheer on all of this year’s teams and wish everyone taking part good luck.”

The event also welcomes the continued support of long-standing sponsor, Belfast City Council. Cllr Kate Nicholl, Lord Mayor of Belfast, visited the Centre with the event organisers ahead of Race Day to check out the fantastic facilities on offer and even registered for membership during her visit!
