Passing the baton for Cancer Focus NI at Translink Lanyon Station 2019

Translink and Cancer Focus NI staff and supporters are getting their marathon running shoes on to raise funds for the charity, currently celebrating its 50th anniversary by keeping a treadmill going for 26.2 hours over two days.

The “runathon” will take place at Lanyon Station on Thursday and Friday, 21st and 22nd February, and anyone can sign up to run or walk slots on a treadmill and also donate to Cancer Focus throughout the two day event.

Supporting the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon’s Health Month this February, Translink and charity partner Cancer Focus are also highlighting the importance of active travel as part of your daily health routine in the run up to this year’s Marathon race day, Sunday 5th May 2019.
