17 December 2018
The event organisers of the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon are delighted to introduce Framar Health as their Official Nutrition Partner for 2019.
Established in 1981, a year before the first ever Belfast City Marathon, Framar Health is delighted to be able to support athletes and runners with quality products and health tips as they train for the 38th Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon on Sunday 5th May 2019.
Framar Health is a family owned business on the Lisburn Road, Belfast run by brothers in law Edwin Howe and Justin Maconaghie and is a centre of excellence in alternative and complementary therapies. Framar offers a range of health foods and quality supplements in their busy retail store, as well as expert advice in its thriving complementary health clinic.
The Belfast event and “running” is at the heart of this local family business with co-owners and husband and wife team Edwin and Katrina Howe discovering their love for running only last year. As part of #TeamFramar they both completed the Team Relay event in May, only to take on their first ever Deep RiverRock Belfast City Half Marathon in September this year.
Commenting on Framar Health’s new partnership with the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon, Edwin Howe (Co-owner of Framar Health) said:
“We are honoured to partner with the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon. It is a fantastic event that brings many positive benefits to the city. It promotes a healthy and active lifestyle and at Framar Health this is something that we are passionate about. We always encourage our customers and clients to eat healthy and enjoy regular exercise. At Framar we are committed to bringing health and wellness through advice and support you can trust and we are excited to be able to extend that advice and support to the amazing competitors that will be taking part in this year’s Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon.”
