As part of our Health Month in February, the Experiment 26.2 Team will be competing in a “Cook-off challenge” to try out these recipes whilst testing their culiniary skills in the kitchen…BUT we need your help – we want you to select what recipes to prepare from the choices below;
Breakfast – Fresh Bircher Muesli with Fruit / Mixed Berry and Oat Breakfast Muffins / Pre workout Pancakes / Gorgeous Granola
Lunch – Oat cakes / Cheese and Onion Stuffed Oat Pancakes / Raw Super Food Protein Salad
Snacks – Blackberry and Raspberry Granola Bars / Honey Oat Cookies / Linwoods Chocolate and Beetroot Superfood Muffins / Protein and Energy Coconut Bliss Balls
Dinner – Oat Cakes with Scrambled Eggs / Oat and Parmesan Crusted Chicken with Caesar Salad / Chia Seed Cauliflower Pizza Base
A maximum of two recipes from each meal time will be selected and our team will prepare these live for you at St. George’s Market mid February– so no excuses for you not to try them yourself at home afterwards.

Danielle McBride, Brand Manager highlighted;
‘White’s is delighted to be involved in the Can’t Cook Won’t Cook Experiment 26.2 which promises to be a fun and energetic event in showcasing the versatility of Oats. Oats are a wonderfully nutritious and healthy ingredient providing a slow release of energy throughout the day, and are high in fibre and protein to keep you feeling fuller for longer; perfect if you’re training, trying to shift a few pounds after Christmas or simply wanting to eat more healthily.”
“Linwoods are proud to be a sampling partner of the 2016 Deep Riverock Belfast City Marathon as we believe that one of the key aspects of marathon preparation is undoubtedly diet and nutrition.
By taking part in the cook-off challenge as part of Health Month, we hope to show participants how they can incorporate our healthy super foods range into any meal at any time of the day for a nutrient packed pick me up” stated Louise McManus, Linwoods.
The benefits of regularly eating oats has been well recognised but as we know not everyone likes starting their day with porridge, so along with Linwoods we’re going head to head to demonstrate just how easy it is to incorporate oats into a variety of delicious nutritious recipes throughout the day’.
