6TH OCTOBER 2017
Last night we officially launched on our social media channels, entries being open for the 37th Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon.
We were delighted to announce an early bird rate, one of many positive changes to the 2018 event (more to follow in the coming weeks) .
We have since received some queries regarding a route change for 2018. Details of the route were not highlighted yesterday as our main focus was on the announcement of a brand new early bird rate and entries being officially open.
The organisers have been working with external bodies to develop a new marathon route for the city which will pass major tourist attractions and encompass North, South, East and West Belfast. This is still ongoing and will not be ready in time for the 2018 event in May.
However we would like to reassure all our participants and supporters that we will endeavour to complete this for the 2019 event and beyond. We will keep you updated on this, informing you of any news as soon as we can.
Details of the 2018 route can be found here.
If you have any comments please contact the Marathon Office directly at firstname.lastname@example.org
We would like to thank you all for your continued commitment and support and look forward to seeing you on Bank Holiday Monday 7th May.
