Marathon Run and Wheelchair Race **2020 Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon will be held on Sunday 3rd May 2020**

2019 Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon  **2020 event details will be released mid Autumn**

Date:  Sunday 5th May 2019

Time:  9am

Start:  Stormont (Prince of Wales Avenue)

Finish:  Ormeau Park



The Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon is one of the leading marathons in the UK and Ireland and is an AIMS certified race.

Set to make history in 2019, the race will be held on a Sunday for the first time and with a new start at Stormont at 9am and finish at Ormeau Park.

It will follow the same route as the Wheelchair Race and the Team Relay Event.

This is a brand new route for 2019, covering all areas of Belfast to include plenty of support from all the local residents.

The new route will be flatter and faster so will be ideal for your first marathon or a Personal Best.  The Belfast event is renowned for the incredible local support and crowds to cheer you on throughout your 26.2 miles!


Entry Requirements

Participants must be over 18 years old to enter. 

All participants must complete the Marathon Run in less than 6 hours.

After it's success last year, the event returns with phased entry pricing:

Early Rate - available until midnight on 31st October 2018

Middle Rate - 1st November 2018 - 28th February 2019

Final Rate - 1st March - 12th April 2019

The very final entry deadline will be at midnight on Friday 12th April 2019.

Race Packs

All race numbers with timing chip will be posted in advance of race day.  Please keep your race number and chip somewhere safe.  Remember there will be NO race numbers available on race day.
