Cancer Focus Northern Ireland is the official nominated charity for the 2013 Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon. All the sponsorship money raised stays in Northern Ireland and will go to the Men's Health Campaign for the charity.

Cancer Focus is asking you to care for those who don't always care for themselves - men. It could be your husband, your dad, your brother or your son.
Cancer is one of the biggest killers of men, yet our research shows that they know less about the disease than women and are less likely to seek advice if they have any warning signs or symptoms.
Every year in Northern Ireland, almost 6,000 men are diagnosed with cancer - that's 22 men every working day - or two football teams inside 24 hours! Around 2,000 of them will lose their lives to cancer every year.
Awareness and Support
Our focus is on raising awareness of men's cancer and reducing men's risk of developing cancer later in life.
What better way to highlight the issues than during the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon 2013, when we will be raising funds for men's cancer, particularly the three biggest cancer killers for men - lung, bowel and prostate.
