Team Relay
Our Team Relay Event is very popular, with around 2,100 teams and 10,500 competitors taking part in 2009.
Route Information
The Team Relay Event follows the same route as the main Marathon Race, the Wheelchair Race and the Marathon Walk.
It begins at Belfast City Hall at 9am.

All Relay Entries received after Friday 26th March 2010 will be subject to a £10 late entry surcharge. Any Marathon Entries received between Saturday 10th April and Friday 16th April will be subject to a £20 late entry surcharge.
Entry Requirements
The event is open to teams of two to five people and teams can be all-male, all-female or mixed (combination of males and females).
Changeover Points
There are four team relay changeover points. They are located at;
- Bridge End
- Hillview Road
- Gideon's Green
- Corporation Street
The team relay is split into five parts. The following distances are approximate;
- 6 miles
- 3.5 miles
- 7.1 miles
- 4.8 miles
- 4.8 miles
Travel information
A series of buses will depart from Ormeau Embankment and transport all relay participants to and from the relay changeover points. However it is the first participant's responsability to be at the start line at Belfast City Hall at the correct time.
