British Red Cross was the official charity of the 2008 Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon.

Known for its emergency response work overseas, the Red Cross also offers a wide range of local services.

Volunteers provide practical assistance, such as wheelchair loan, and emotional support.

The Red Cross also helps communities by training thousands of people every year in lifesaving first aid skills.
