Pacers introduced to the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon

For the first time ever, the 2010 Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon will facilitate official pacers on race day.


For participants who wish to complete the marathon in three hours, 3.5 hours, four hours and 4.5 hours, you can sign up at the Expo and Pack Collection at the City Hall the weekend before race day at the Athletics NI stand. There will be two pacers per time and each pacer will be able to take 30 participants. Spaces will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

All pacers will be sponsored by New Balance and are local runners from local clubs; Willowfield Harriers, Beechmount Harriers, Upper Bann AC and Ballymena Runners.
