Northern Ireland Athletes Ben Reynolds and Christine McMahon encourage all schools, parents and friends to join forces and sign up for the 36th Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon.

To celebrate the 36th year of the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon, the organisers are urging all local secondary schools to get involved and enter their school into the 2017 event to win a cash prize of £1000. 

If a school enters 10 people or more into the Team Relay, 8 Mile Walk or Fun Run Events, they will automatically qualify to win one of the cash prizes. Parents, family members or friends ca also be included in the competition provided they highlight the name of the school at the top of their entry forms.

There are two cash prizes up for grabs; £1000 and £500.

So what are you waiting for – get together, start training and join over 16,000 others at the starting line of the 36th Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon which takes place on Bank Holiday Monday 1st May 2017.
