Run with Mencaps GAA footballers this year! We are seeking more relay teams to run for Mencap NI
Even if you are not a long distance runner, you could run a ‘short leg’ of the route with your friends and family. We are seeking relay teams of 2 to 5 friends, family or colleagues can run short sections of the marathon whilst fundraising for Mencap. People of all ages, abilities and interest groups including football and rugby teams are all welcome to participate!
Simply visit www.mencapbigstepforward.org to signup. We’ll give you everything to get started – tips, guides, running vests and even a 14 day free pass for David Lloyd gym in Belfast to help you train and also relax before the day!

March is a key training month for long distance runners – normally working up to reaching 19 miles in one running session. To cushion the impact of your long runs, we are giving away pairs of mens and womens ASICS Kayano gel running trainers. Register before 31st March and you might win a pair of great new professional running trainers with enough time to ‘run’ them in comfortably before your big marathon day.
