Mencap is delighted to be the official charity of the Belfast City Half Marathon 2017, the second Half Marathon of our 3 year partnership.
The 2016 Half Marathon saw over 1,000 Mencap runners out on the streets of Belfast raising just under £20,000 and this year we want to see even more people running and raising money for children and young people with learning disabilities in Northern Ireland, so please do #StepUp4Mencap!
The money raised at the Belfast City Half Marathon will enable us to make further steps towards a world where people with a learning disability are valued equally, listened to and included. Everything raised goes towards helping the 33,000 with a learning disability in Northern Ireland - these are people in your local community who need your help. People like Laura and Lucy. You can read their story online at: https://northernireland.mencap.org.uk/blog/laura-and-lucy
Please #StepUp4Mencap on Sunday 17 September and you really will be making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people with a learning disability. To read more about Mencap and the people we work with visit www.mencap.org.uk/northern-ireland
