Ice-Hockey World Championships Comes To Belfast In April!

The 2017 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship, Division 1 Group B, will be hosted by Ice Hockey UK for the first time in 25 years, at The SSE Arena, Belfast.

Between 23–29 April 2017, our city will play host to some of the world's top ice-hockey nations with Team GB, Japan, Netherlands, Estonia, Croatia and Lithuania competing.

 

 

Never before has Northern Ireland hosted this prestigious tournament and in April 2017 Team GB, with many familiar faces from the Belfast Giants both past and present, will go for gold in Belfast. Team GB needs your support.

Tickets are currently on sale and fans are able to buy these through various outlets such as online through www.ticketmaster.ie, from the SSE Arena Box Office in person, or by calling 028 9073 9074.

World championship pass

The World championship pass gives fans access to all 15 of the 2017 World Championship games, from Sunday 23 April - Saturday 29 April.

World championship pass (15 games):

  • Adult - £70
  • Concession (Over 65s and students - with a valid ID) - £55
  • Kids (aged 16 and under - with a valid ID) - £40
  • Family (two adults plus two children - with a valid ID) - £180

Day pass

You can purchase a single day pass for each day of the tournament. Fans will be able to watch up to three games on the day for which their pass is applicable to.

Day pass (three games):

  • Adult - £16
  • Concession (over 65s and students - with a valid ID) - £11
  • Kids (aged 16 and under - with a valid ID) - £9
  • Family (two adults plus two children - with a valid ID) - £44

Final weekend pass

The final weekend pass offers a discount for those fans who can only attend the two closing days of the championship: Friday 28 and Saturday 29 April, and allows ticket holders the opportunity to watch up to six games.

  • Adult - £30
  • Concession (over 65s and students - with a valid ID) - £20
  • Kids (aged 16 and under - with a valid ID) - £15
  • Family (two adults plus two children - with a valid ID) - £75
